Chicago, February 21, 2023 – The NPD Group* presented GE Appliances with the top performance awards in major appliances at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) recently held in Las Vegas. NPD’s Home leadership presented top performance awards to GE Appliances in the total kitchen and laundry categories and for overall major domestic appliances. The awards were based on the largest dollar share increase among key major appliance categories in 2022, compared to 2021, according to NPD’s Retail Tracking Service.

GE Appliances swept the NPD performance awards with the largest dollar share increase in two categories, total laundry, and total kitchen. They also won the overall award for the largest dollar share gain in major domestic appliances, outpacing key competitors. The awards were based on NPD’s Retail Tracking Service, 12 months ending December 2022 compared to the same period a year ago.
