Data Spotlight

Tobacco Category Leaders: Cigarettes, Smokeless Tobacco, and Electronic Smoking Devices Hold Steady


The top three categories by sales rank remain unchanged: Cigarettes (#1), Smokeless Tobacco (#2), and Electronic Smoking Devices (#3). No shifts in rankings occurred versus the prior period. Notably, Electronic Smoking Devices saw the largest percent sales decline at -2.8%. Tobacco Accessories was the only category with a sales increase, up 1.8%. All other categories experienced slight declines.
