Circana employees in Canada participated in an event with Second Harvest – Canada's largest food rescue charitable organization. A team of 18 in the Toronto area sorted and packed canned food and prepared it for distribution to those in need. It was a great event, and the team sorted an impressive 6,304 pounds of cans for distribution to a network of agency partners!

47 Circana volunteers in Greece partnered with Save Your Hood in November to clean up the Haidari Forest. The team collected 10,400 liters (2,747 gallons) of waste and an additional 6,200 liters (1,637 gallons) of bulk items to help clean their space!

Circana colleagues in India took part in a Circana Week of Caring. Throughout the week, they were involved in several initiatives to help improve the lives of people in local communities.

Circana’s Athlone, Ireland team volunteered to walk dogs at the ISPCA, an organization rehabilitating up to 50 dogs and 50 cats at any time, as well as caring for donkeys, horses, and chickens.

To help the Somaschi Foundation support the most vulnerable groups and Pane Quotidiano secure essential food for those in need, Circana’s Italy team spent a day at the farm picking fruits and vegetables. We also helped with meal preparation and distribution.

We sent messages to the team asking them to donate coats and clothing items, along with personal cleaning products.

We received nearly 300 items, including several from the Amazon gift list.

We had the opportunity to meet with the administrator and some of the individuals they shelter.

Circana’s South African business launched its RISE Graduate Growth Programme. Thanks to our partnership with the Dell Young Leaders Foundation, we empowered four RISE graduates to successfully begin a meaningful career.

Members of our San Diego-based team volunteered at the local Feeding America (https://www.feedingamerica.org/) location. They packed produce, oatmeal packs, and backpacks for children in grades K-12, helping to feed 1,046 families across San Diego.

Circana partnered with Love The Hair You Wear at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, one of the largest historically black colleges and universities. The event connected us with people who can diversify the pool of candidates for internships and open roles, and we awarded a scholarship to a promising student to support her academic efforts.

The Chicago office partnered with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, collecting about 30lbs of items. Amazon wish list donations allowed more employees to participate.

Since 1979, the Greater Chicago Food Depository has proudly provided food for our neighbors in need across Chicago and Cook County. Over the years, we have expanded and evolved our programs and services to meet the changing needs of those we serve.

The Long Island, NY, Port Washington office partnered with Island Harvest and hosted a food drive that ran from November 18ththrough December 18th. Amazon wish list donations allowed more employees to participate.

In total, we collected and delivered 100 pounds of donations, ranging from nut butters, pasta, soups, cereal, to personal cleansing products.
