Lauren Cooks Levitan is a board member for Circana, appointed in 2026.

Currently Co-Founder and Co-CEO of ROOT, Levitan has more than 30 years of strategic, financial, and operational experience with high-growth, global retail companies.

Prior to founding ROOT, Levitan served as first CFO then President of Faire Wholesale, Inc., a 2-way wholesale marketplace provider. Before that, Levitan was the Chief Financial Officer of Fanatics, Inc., a retailer of licensed sports apparel and merchandise. She also served as Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Moxie Capital LLC, where she provided capital investment and advisory services to branded, consumer-facing businesses that operated in wholesale, retail, e-commerce, and direct sales. Earlier in her career, she held positions at Cowen & Company, Robertson Stephens, Crate & Barrel, the Gymboree Corporation, and Goldman Sachs.

Levitan currently serves as Lead Independent Director and Audit Committee Chair on the board of directors of e.l.f. Beauty, Inc. and as a director of Faire Wholesale, Inc.
