Percent of exposed shoppers who purchase after a promotion or campaign.

Definition

Buyer conversion quantifies how well a tactic turns reached shoppers into paying customers. It is a direct read of effectiveness at the point of sale.

How to Calculate

Divide buyers who purchased during the campaign by total shoppers exposed to the campaign, then multiply by 100. Use matched markets or IDs to estimate exposure.

Why it Matters

Shows whether spend is working and which channels drive real purchases, not just impressions.
