Analysis of how loyal buyers of one category engage with adjacent categories.

Definition

Cross‑category loyalty insights show overlap between loyal buyers across categories and brands. They reveal where equity carries over, which helps plan bundles and brand extensions.

How to Calculate

Identify loyal buyers in category A using repeat and share of wallet rules, then compute their purchase rates and spend in category B. Build an overlap matrix by category and brand to find strong pairs.

Helps design cross‑category offers that lift basket value without deep discounts.
